ANP wants to invite Sonia Gandhi for Pakhtunkhwa celebration, Says Baba

Chief of Tehreek-e-Hazara Province (THP) Baba Haider Zaman alleged that Awami National Party (ANP) wanted to invite Sonia Gandhi for celebrating the Pakhtunkhwa celebration.

Baba Haider Zaman said this while addressing to a mammoth public procession of Lahore-based Hazarawalls at Lahore on Tuesday.

He said that by defence point of view Hazara is very important region, if the government would not give it the status of province then ANP sale it to the enemy. Adding that he said that ANP opposed the construction of Kala Bagh Dam because he has getting money form India for this purpose. This is an Indian conspiracy against Pakistan to become it barren, he added.

He warned the rulers that they must hear the voice of Hazarawalls otherwise they will not have any chance to flee from government offices if the THP would announce long march after the civil disobedience.

On the occasion former foreign minister and speaker National Assembly Gohar Ayub Khan said that if the government gives the provincial status to Hazara then the Hazara will be the richest province of Pakistan.

Former Nazim Mansehra Sardar Muhammad yousuf said that Hazarawalls would defeat the every conspiracy of the followers of Raja Daher. Former Tehsail Nazim Balakot Syed Junaid Ali Qasim, Habibur Rehman Tanoli, Mushtaq Ghani, Abdul Qadeer Khamosh and others also spoke, while the local leaders of Jamat-e-Islami, PML-Q and Tehreek-e-Insaf were also participated in the public procession.

The workers of THP warmly welcomed the THP leaders in Lahore and announced on the stage that in future Baba Haider Zaman will nominate the candidates for the elections.

Earlier, Baba Haider Zaman while addressing  the crowded press conference at Lahore Press Club has hinted at launching a civil disobedience movement if the government fails to agree to their demand for the establishment of Hazara province.

He said that although the people of Hazara were pro-Pakistan, but a separate Hazara province had become a matter of their pride.

“So the authorities that think this movement will die down with the passage of time are living in a fools’ paradise,” he said. The HPM chief said the government’s discriminatory policy towards the people of Hazara was forcing the masses to take to the streets to press for their demands.

The THP leaders were also participated in a seminar at Ewaan-e-Waqt arranged by Nawa-i-Waqt Group of Publications.
