Hazarawal not involved in recent target killing in Karachi, Shahi Syed

KARACHI- President Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh  Shahi Syed on Thursday alleged that Governor Sindh is responsible of recent target killing incidents in the metropolis.

Addressing the press conference at his residence alongwith the leaders of Hazara community to condemn the recent target killing incidents in the metropolis, Shahi Syed said that Hazarawal community was not involved in the recent target killing incidents.

He alleged that an element is hatching a conspiracy to create confrontation between the Pukhtoon and Hazara community of the metropolis.

He further said that Hazarawal community is our brothers and offered the Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara leader Baba Haider Zaman to come Karachi and present his demands of Hazara province through Mardan House.

He demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo-motto action of the recent target killings in Karachi saying that Political parties were given the sacrifices for the freedom of Judiciary.

ANP leader said that every party has a right to perform their political activities in Karachi adding that some elements want to hijack the metropolis.

Tehreek-e-Hazara condemns MQM statement over Karachi incident

KARACHI: Tehreek-e-Hazara province (THP) leader Baba Haider Zaman said that THP has no link with the recent target killing incident in Karachi as the people belonged to Hazara are peacefull and our movement are also a peaceful movement.

Similarly, Karachi-based THP officials strongly condemned MQM’s statement on target killings in Karachi. In reply to Waseem Aftab’s statement on a private TV, channel THP officials clarified that in this clash was between two groups.

They appreciated the cooperation of MQM for Hazara Province movement adding that but MQM should first investigate that whose have been killed in this clash.

The THP leaders while condemning the recent target killings said that they believe on peace. All Pakistani’s are our brothers whether they belong to ANP, MQM, PPP, PML, etc and we don’t believe in extremism acts, they added.

The THP leader requested the both MQM and ANP leaders that they not to put any false blames on Hazarawals. “We are 2 million in Karachi and we know how to protect our community and we don’t need any help from any political party”, said Aftab Nazir.

He said that they have trust on courts and judiciary and requested the respective authorities to investigate this issue and bring culprits in front of the nation.

While commenting on the recent target killing in Karachi he said that the clash was started from Shama Shopping center in Shah Faisal Colony Number 2 and going towards Orangi Town. Everyone can understand that which two parties are involved in these target killings, he said.

He appealed the government to play his due role instead of watching the game as spectator, he added.

Arshad Hussain, a leader of Hazara Qaumi Jirga (HQJ) Karachi chapter denied the MQM stance over the recent target killing incident and said that there is no clash among Pakhtuns and Hazarawalls in Karachi.

Different parties hold rallies and processions for Hazara Province

ABBOTTABAD – Huge public gatherings and rallies in Abbottabad, Mansehra and Battagram took place simultaneously by Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Tehreek-e-Hazara Province (THP) and Jamiat-e-Ulema-e- Islam (JUI-F) on Wednesday.

In Abbottbad’s public rally was organised by JI. Senior JI leader Senator Liaquat Baloch visited the city to lead the rally, while district leader of JI Abdul Razzaq Abbasi, Gulzar Abbasi, Waheed Akhtar Tanoli, Dr Mehboob Elahi, President District Bar Tahir Faraz Abbasi and all sections of the city especially Tehreek-e-Hazara leadership including Sardar Yaqoob, Mushtaq Ghani, Dr Azhar Jadoon Nisar Safdar Khan, Wali Muhammad Khan and others were actively attended the rally.

On the occasion, Liaquat Baloch said that 18th Amendment created more difficulties in Pakistn especially in Hazara region and  no one can stop to change the status of Hazara as province because now the people of Hazara are unite for their own province. He demanded the parliament to table the 19th Amendment in the constitution to form the Hazara province. JI include the demand for Hazara in his policy and raise the voice for it on every plat form, he added.

Later, Jamat-e-Islami Mansehra chapter, under the leadership of Ameer JI Hazara region and Coordinator Tehreek-e-Hazara, Abdul Razzaq Abbasi organised a huge public rally on the same day to express solidarity with Hazara cause.

Tehreek-e-Hazara, Mansehra chapter leaders including Sardar Yousuf, Sardar Shahjehan Yousuf, Shehzada Gustasib and Qasim Shah also organized a public procession on the same day at Mansehra where the Tehreek stalwarts had reached after addressing Battagram’s procession. The procession led by Baba Haider Zaman.

On the occasion, Sardar Haider Zaman lauded the support of political parties for Hazara movement and said that the hospitality extended to Tehreek by the Pakhtun public in Battagram was a great source of encouragement for the people of Hazara. “The way our Pakhtun brothers always stand by our side is so heartening. The Pakhtun people fully realise that Hazara cause is a matter of mutual concern for all of us,” he said.

Earlier, an overwhelming procession right in the centre of Battagram city, yet again, dealt a mega blow to Awami National Party (ANP) that had repeatedly claimed of having a popular vote bank in the Pakhtun majority district. Last month, a mighty grand jirga and public processions were arranged in Battagram and Kohistan districts as well.
Wednesday’s procession in Battagram was organised by senior JUI-F leader and Khan of Battagram, Fayaz Khan, Khanzada Zafar Ali Khan, Prince Nawaz Khan and Alam Zeb Khan, in which the local leadership extended full support for Tehreek-e-Hazara and said that Pakhtun public would always welcome their Hazarawal brothers. Quaid-e-Tehreek-e-Hazara, Sardar Haider Zaman, Shehzada Gustasib, Sardar Yousuf, Sardar Abdul Aziz, Tariq Swati, Waseem Jadoon and Naseer Jadoon led the Tehreek delegation.

The Tehreek leaders while linking the construction of Diamir-Bhasha Dam with the formation of Hazara province vowed that the people of Hazara will not give the permission to construct the Dam until the formation of Hazara province. The Hazara province is the constitutional and democratic right of the area people and the people of Hazara would not get back even a single step on their right.

On the occasion Baba Haider Zaman said that the people of Hazara which living across the country including Lahore and Karachi proved that they waked up for their right and wanted their own province.

Central Organiser Hazara Action Committee, Sardar Sheraz Afzal said, “ANP had tried to create division between Hazarawals and Pakhtuns but the repetition of the hospitality of Pakhtun public always foils malicious attempts of ANP to divide us. All the people of Hazara, whether they are Pakhtuns or non-Pakhtuns, identify themselves with Hazara cause. No one can separate us,” he added.
